Bouda Klínovka is located in a beautiful place, in the heart of Krkonoše Mountains, in the middle of true mountain nature, where you can both concentrate but mainly relax and unwind. Observe the surrounding landscape, beautiful cows or just enjoy the breathtaking views of the region. The hut has a charming atmosphere and will provide you with all the services you need for your stay, seminar or training.
We will be happy to make your stay more pleasant and introduce you to our mountain farm. All common activities associated with the operation of the farm can be left to resonate with both your team building and a relaxed retreat. Come to us to experience new adventures.

We try to solve everything more or less individually, but please pay attention to these lines. In addition to the hut, we take care of the farm and the animals that live here with us. We would like to ask you to respect the rules we have here. We try to ensure maximum care and comfort for your visitors, traveling and long-term vacationers, as well as our animals and farm.
We are happy to accommodate you with a warm welcome until 20:00, unless we agree otherwise. We like well-tuned guests, but we do not accommodate drunk creatures!
In case you would be late with your arrival and did not let us know by phone in advance (anything can happen, of course we understand that), then unfortunately we charge an additional fee of 500 CZK for late accommodation.
The warm kitchen is open to guests on weekends until 20:00, the cold kitchen an hour longer > i.e. until 21:00. On weekdays, the restaurant and kitchen are open as needed.
Reservations without payment of accommodation costs are not possible. After paying for the accommodation costs, you buy a place with us on the agreed date. Therefore, it is not possible to cancel the stay. However, someone else can easily come instead of you.
It is not possible to reach the hut by car. Klínovka is located in the 1st zone of KRNAP (National Park). We want to have the „right energy“ here in Klínové Boudy. We think it simply – cars not belong here on top of the mountains. We are convinced that all our guests will appreciate the true mountain tranquility, clean fresh air and clear views to the valley.
The route through the roller coaster is decided individually, especially with regard to the current weather and the number of people. If you are interested, please call or write an email to discuss the details.
We kindly request a deposit of 500 CZK for the key to your room at the check-in. Unfortunately, in the past, our guests often left for the valley with the keys. Hopefully, this will remind you to return the key to us. Thank you for your understanding.
We do not have internet for guests at our cabin. We believe you will appreciate this experience in conversation with your loved ones or in a social chat with other hikers.

In the summer months, when you buy a stay of 3 nights or more, you get 2 hours of babysitting for FREE with a tour through our mountain farm. The children will see our herd of Scottish Highland Cattle (Highlands), our newborn calves, get to know the work on the farm and get answers to all the questions.
The original Klínova Bouda was founded as early as 1676 on the site of an allegedly original hut built by workers who carried ore from Svatý Petr to Dolní Dvůr so that they would have a place to hide from bad weather. The south-facing 40-hectare meadow is said to have originated in the 17th century as an economic base for the silver mines in St. Peter.
Unlike the equally high meadow enclaves, there were not only summer huts in Klínovky, but mountaineers lived here all year round. That’s why a private teacher from Renner’s nearby huts came here since 1814. At that time, a military retiree also met the qualification of a teacher. It was taught in various cottages, in addition, children from Rennerovky and all three enclaves of Pláně also came here. In 1903, the village of Volský Důl, to which Klínové boudy then belonged, built its own one-class school for twenty-eight children.
During the boom with tourism at the end of the 19th century, at least one cottage in each mountain meadow enclave was transformed into a mountain inn. Hermann Buchberger and his wife Wilhelmina have exhausted the local tourist potential at Klínové boudy. At the end of the 19th century, they owned the two highest cottages by the tourist path, the upper one was rebuilt into the soon-known Klínova bouda. Directly on the doorstep, the roads from Pláně, Svatý Petr, Výrovka, Fries and Renner’s huts connected.
During the seventy years of operation, the hut was met three times by misfortune. It burned down for the first time in 1912. A year later, the Buchbergers rebuilt it and immediately sold it to the Bönsch brothers from Luční bouda. In 1926, they appointed Johann Braun of Braunberg or Brown Hill in Pec as the administrator. In addition to a mountain farm with three cows and a pair of draft horses, his family offered guests accommodation, and especially sitting in a stylish inn with live music and dancing.
After World War II, in May 1945, the post-war guerrillas unjustifiably shot farmer Braun right in front of the hut and the eyes of the family. Then, for twenty-five years, state organizations ran there. In the winter of 1970, the hut burned to the ground, and for forty years, the Klínové Boudy were left without adequate compensation.
In 2003, a neighboring hut known as „Tesla“ was acquired by a private owner from the Tesla Hloubětín company. In the years 2005 – 2010, the hut was completely reconstructed to its current form and opened to the public under the name „Nová Klínovka“.
In 2016, the hut was bought by Infinmed s.r.o., which, with the intention of giving life to the hut again and renewing the age-old tradition of this beautiful mountain hut, gave the hut the name „Bouda Klínovka“.
