SUMMER PATH
From Strážné Lom
From the Bus Station in Vrchlabí, a small bus goes to the final stop „Strážné Lom.“ This bus usually connects with the bus from Prague. At Strážné Lom, there is a parking lot, free of charge during the summer, unguarded. From the parking lot, cross the bridge, and go uphill along the stream. After 200 meters, the main road sharply turns right uphill, but your route continues straight along the forest asphalt road and further straight along the stream. Continue slightly uphill along the forest road for approximately 2.5 km, where there is a turning circle and parking. Here, the road for cars ends, and the route continues along a footpath on the right bank of the stream. After 1.5 km, you will reach a bridge over the stream, which you will cross. Now climb the forest path all the way up until you join the path with the green tourist sign. Turn right, continue uphill and forward, and after a while, you will reach Klínové Boudy. Nová Klínovka is the last hut in the meadow to the right of the road. A 6 km walk, approximately 1.5 hours. The path is very scenic, allowing you to admire the pools and giant pots in Klínový Potok. The path is not marked, but it is easy to navigate. It is not suitable for strollers and bicycles.
From Špindlerův Mlýn
In summer, you can park for free in the „Labská“ parking lot (the first one on the right off the road). Other parking lots are guarded and paid according to the current price list. A regular bus from Prague (Černý Most) goes to Špindlerův Mlýn.
By cable car and on foot
From the parking lot or bus station, continue through the center of Špindlerův Mlýn to Svatý Petr, to the lower station of the cable car. It operates seasonally according to the rules here. From the upper station of the cable car, follow the blue trail to Bouda na Pláni, and from there, take the green trail to Klínové Boudy. Nová Klínovka is the last hut in the meadow on the right side. A walk of approximately 5 km, 1 hour.
Walk across the Stoh slope
This is the most beautiful scenic path to us. From Špindlerův Mlýn, follow the blue trail across the ski slopes in Svatý Petr, and then along the slope of Stoh to the former Klínovka. From there, it is 500 meters down the road to Nová Klínovka. The last 200 meters are on the green trail.
From Pec pod Sněžkou
In summer, you can park in the central parking lot P3 „Kaplička“ (the first one on the right behind the hotel Pecr). The parking lot is guarded and paid according to the current price list. A regular bus from Prague (Černý Most) goes to Pec pod Sněžkou.
By cable car and on foot
Cross the entire Pec pod Sněžkou around the Javor cable car to the lower station of the cable car to Hnědý vrch. It operates seasonally according to the rules here. From the upper station, continue to the left along the bike path towards Lyžařská bouda, and further along the red trail towards Liščí hora and Rozcestí. From Rozcestí, follow the green trail to Klínovka. A walk of approximately 6 km, 2.5 hours.
On foot
From the parking lot, head towards Velká pláň, then through Richterovy boudy, with a long climb to Výrovka hut. At the signpost, turn left onto the red trail to Rozcestí, and from there, turn right onto the green trail to Klínovka. A walk of approximately 8 km, 3.5 hours.
Another option
Another option is a walking tour from the P4 “Zelený potok” car park, following the green trail towards Severka to Rozcestí and further along the green trail to Klínovka. A walk of approximately 7.8 km, 3.25 hours.
